Why do people put strawberries in their glass of champagne?!

the champagne actually gets in to the berries bringing out their sweet flavor to make the champagne have a more sweet flavor!. I dont just do this with champagne I do this with Arbor Mist Pino Grigio wine too and the sweet flavor is quite refreshing!. Alot of my clients like it too specially during summer and the wine has been chilled a very long time!.
