Are some wines still produced by treading the grapes?!

Question: Are some wines still produced by treading the grapes!?
Surely that is unhygienic, does it taint the wine, or am I missing something! such as something between the grapes and feet!?

Where can I find out which wines to avoid!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
They still do this at various vineyards as more of a tradition, or to start the season!.

The wine is fermented for such a long time, that bacteria would not survive!. Any bacteria that would be in the juice would never survive the acidity of the refined juice!.

It really isn't a big deal, it actually helps maintain the purity and flavor of the grapes!. It's not really used anymore because presses are much faster and efficient!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here are some brands that still food tread their wine!.
also apparently the reason that these people still foot tread their wine is that foot treading is ideal for pressing grapes because it breaks up the fruit without breaking the seeds, which would release bitter compounds into the wine!.
These places are very proud of their product and cannot do anything to lose their reputation on their hard worked and hard earned company that has been around for generations!. Surely these people make sure that the people (legs & feet) that are treading the grapes are sanatized in every way possible!. They do not want to lose everything for some simple prevention!.
