3 eggs, 75g!. sugar, 5ml!. vanilla essence, 100ml!. water, 450ml!. fresh double cream, 30ml!. rum, 100g!. raisins!.
The shopkeeper uses 2 litres of fresh cream!. Which calculation gives the correct amount of sugar he uses in grams !?

Answers:
The correct one is 'a'!.

2 litres is 2000ml, so the ratio between shopkeeper's recipe and original recipe is 2000/450!. Then it just uses that ratio, times the original 75g, to get the amount of sugar he needs!.

In other words, he is using nearly four-and-a-half times as much cream as the recipe does, so he needs nearly four-and-a-half times as much of everything else to keep the proportions right!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

(2000/450)x 75 = 333!.33g sugar

Think that may be your equation (a) but whatever it's
