Why cant non smokers put their guns down already?!
i noticed that this is becoming a war between smokers and non smokers !. everyone is shooting at one another , why cant they live in harmony!?
and as a matter of fact smokers started hating non smokers cuz they started the hate !. us smokers have always been careful towards non smokers and not smoke around them if they asked us not to !.
now everyone is blaming everything on a smoker, if a smoker is passing by and a kid falls down ,SHAME ON U SMOKER U MADE THE KID FALL AND BREAK A LEG !!!.

Last I checked sh*t stinks too, but I don't see anyone being banned from bathrooms, and some of ya should be!.!.!.!.!.!.there are so many things in life that are liked and disliked, but part of living is simply dealing with these facts!. Smoking has been villia-fied to the point where I think some would rather put up with a child molester than a smoker!.!.!.!.!.!.I think a lot of this has been programming through TV and advertisements!. How easily can the publics views be harden against one issue and softened against another!. Regardless of that issue's weight!. There was a time when people smoked all over the place and to be honest I never really noticed!. Some non smoker's breath is worse than any smell that any smoke, except cyanide, could produce!. I'm a smoker and what really irritated me was when they had non-smoking areas and smoking areas in restaurants!. Sure enough the non-smokers would sit in the smoking area if they had a long line waiting for a non-smoking area!. THEY WERE TAKING UP MY SPACE!

if you think about it what are you inhaling in your body!? for what !? i am in the health care profession and have seen too many people in the hospital sick with lung cancer, pneumonia, or other things and they would rather risk EVERYTHING to get out and smoke!? does a cigarette mean that much to you!?!?!?!?what is the purpose is inhaling that poisonous stuff into your body!? if you think about it, you might as well pick up dirt and eat it(it is almost the same thing)!.now don't get me wrong, i respect smokers, i don't bash them!. but from the health side like many other things i see the down-side of that one little cigarette!.i feel it is a choice to smoke, but be respectful to others that don't smoke cause they do not want to smell it!.just like non-smokers be respectful of smokers as long as it in within the guideline of a bar, restaurant, etc!. let them smoke and if it bothers the non-smoker, just pick another place to go!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.we all have decisions in life to make , and every decision is a learning experience!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think it's a little crazy how far it has gone!. It's one thing to want to protect your immediate space as a non-smoker which is reasonable, it's another thing entirely to tell people how they should live their lives!. You'd be hard pressed to find people that aren't fully aware of the addictive and unhealthy nature of smoking, I think we can stop attacking the tobacco industry for providing a luxury item no worse than a Big Mac!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
First off I myself smoke cigars! That's is worse than cigarettes to most people!. However I try not to let my smoke interfere with others breathing!. That is not the case with all smokers, I've heard many say "screw them I have the right to smoke if I want", I tell them not for long with that attitude!. There are less and less places to smoke all the time!. In Florida there is no smoking at all in restaurants, which made my wife and I very happy, she doesn't smoke and it bothered her when we would go out to dinner, sit in non smoking and still smell the cigarettes, it wasn't the smokers fault, most places aren't equipped to ventilate all that smoke efficiently!. I enjoy a cigar after dinner which I have after we get outside and I'm down wind of people!. Now they are considering banning smoking on some of our beaches!. Please be considerate of non smokers if you can, I know some of them can be totally unreasonable, but we are running out of options and they won't burn in outer space!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I do not smoke!. I never have!. I do not like the smell of stale smoke!. I do not go to places where people smoke!. I used to love to go bowling but I always came out ot there smelling like smoke so I stopped going!. Recently the city put that ban in effect and now the bowling alley does not smell bad and so now I will go bowling!.

You seem to imply that most smokers are polite and courtious!.!.!. I have found it to be very much the opposite!. Before smoking was banned in restaurants and bars (I live in NJ) it was very common for the smokers to hold their cigs out away from their own table!. If you were lucky enough to be in the nonsmoking section next to them it was closer to you then them!. Smoke it not something I want to be smelling during dinner or any other meal!. Going to a bar or whatever, I hated coming home and needing to shower and burn my clothes because I smelled like an ashtray!.
We may have started the hate, but it was due to a lack of courtesy and respect given by those who feel it was a god given right to smoke and make me endure it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sorry sweetie, but not all of what you said is true!.!.!.YOU may be careful not to smoke around non smokers, but not all smokers are, my father smoked my whole life and I had no choice but to live with it and at 34 I found out I had cancer!.!.!.!.!.I don't smoke never have never will, I don't understand it, smoke is the first thing that kills you in a fire but smokers want to inhale it!.!.!.!.I just don't get it, to each their own, but I still don't think I should HAVE to walk in to any place and smell or inhale it!. I don't smoke, but I come from a family who does!. I hate the smell of it, but I am also use to it, I notice it more now that I've moved out!. When I'm driving in my car I will let my family smoke in there (as long as no one burns my seats)!. My only pet peeve with smokers is those who blow the smoke right in my face!. There's a simple solution to that though, I can move my seat and problem is solved!. Now I am a bit more careful around smokers, but that is only because I am pregnant!. If someone wants to smoke, it's their choice!. I think that it's dumb that they have banned smoking in public places, as long as there is a designated area it's not an issue!. Especially it being banned in bars, they go hand in hand!. It should be left at this, non smokers need to respect those who smoke, and the smokers need to respect non smokers!. No one needs to lecture anyone on their life styles, and I can guarantee every non smoker has done something else hazardous to their health at one point in time!.
To the non smokers who are saying don't smoke in a building where there are non smokers, do you expect them to go up to everyone and do a survey asking who smokes and who doesn't before they light up!? And chances are most of that room will be smokers, and you'll be out numbered!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
