Friends of mine make "summer beer" when it is really hot out!. Its a mixture of beer, vodka and lemonade (regular or pink) It sounds gross but I promise it is VERY tasty if you put in the right amounts!.
A cold bottle of white wine: Riesling, Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay!. Moscato if you prefer a sweeter wine!.

I think a really good chilled Reisling is a good choice of wine for a hot weekend day!. It goes great with grilled food and veggies!. I would suggest putting it in the freezer before drinking and after you open it return it to the freezer, so that each glass you pour it just as ice cold as the first, just keep and eye on it not to freeze it of course!. Oh and the brand I prefer most is Chateau St!.Michelle it comes in a green bottle and has a biege lable and runs about $10-15 a bottle!. You can get it almost at any liquor store or place where they sell wine and spirits!. I buy it from Wal-mart!. Albertson's Liqour store, Winn-Dixie, And Publix!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
if you don't want to get too complicated i'd recommend some gin and tonic!. if you want some recipes i'll give you a few
mojito= 1!.5 oz light rum, 2 tablespoons sugar or simple syrup, 5 large mint leaves, 3 wedges of lime, muddle lime, mint and sugar, add ice pour in rum and shake, top with soda water
you can substitute apple pucker, watermelon pucker or anything like that for the simple syrup/sugar if you want to build different flavors!. if you like you can also add a couple of strawberries or raspberries and muddle those!. very refreshing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My favorite hot weather cocktail is frosted margaritas, made like a snowcone!. They make the mixes now that come in a big plastic bucket, just add your tequila and ice and throw it in the blender!. Easy, icy and refreshing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
take a nalgene bottle fill it with ice and about 1/2 -3/4 full of vodka, add about 1-2 lemons sliced and a cup or two of sugar!. shake it up really good until the sugar disolves!. if its still to strong add more sugar or lemonsWww@FoodAQ@Com
