Alcoholism isn't determined by amount or by frequency!. It is determined by need!. If you friend has an uncontrollable drive to consume alcohol!.!.!. then and only then is he/she and alcoholic!.
It could be that they are just a problem drinker (a lush if you will)!.!.!. someone who once they start can't stop or don't know when to say when!. This is different than alcoholism!.!.!. no addiction!. All they need to do is learn moderation!.
Or!.!.!. your friend could be an alcoholic!. What every you or they do avoid AA at all cost!. AA is a cult who brainwashes people!. See a counselor or a pastor/priest, but not AA!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would consider them abusing the beer!. A habit, honey, is an addiction!. I really think that if it is someone who is part of your family, or a friend, or you mate, you simply tell them that you have something that is bothering them!. Give it to them straight: that much alcohol is interfering with their life and also is destroying their liver, and causing physical problems later in life!. Good luck, no one wants to hear that they have a problem, but it sounds like this 'someone' does!. Well to be honest if you are a good friend of them approach them when they are not drunk or drinking and just slowly but surely bring the conversation theme up and start talking about it!. I have some preeeeetty drunk friends they drink a lot and i have talked to them about this and this is how i did it try it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
