Wine Glass Question?!
i'm having a party and i want to make my own candles!. i want to pour the wax into wine glasses!. is this safe!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

This sounds like a really neat idea!. I would suggest the thick cut-glass wine glasses!. The top usually flares out and that should help to release the heat!. If you use goblets I would think it would hold heat in and the glasses may get so hot they could crack!. maybe consider just using votive candles placed in the wineglasses!. good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's a cute idea, but why not go with tealights!? There will be less of a mess to deal with after, and you won't have to worry about throwing away perfectly good glasses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They are correct!.!.!. and just a tip if you DO want to clean out the glasses!.!.!. stick 'em in the freezer for a couple days when you're done with them, and the leftover wax will pop right out!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Should be if the glasses are dishwasher safe to be able to take the heat!. Course you will have a REALLY hard time cleaning the wax out!. Don't use your good glasses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
