Since you didn't mention what it was that you killed let's see!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.you can't really go too wrong with a nice white wine like Chablis!. There are some excellent dry white wines reasonably priced from California!. If you feel like slumming it - you could always go with Ripple's Pagan Pink (they don't call it Koolaid with a hard-** for nothing!)

I would serve a decent Port!. I like Taylor's Bin 27 but there are many others to choose from!.

Don't use huge glasses, Port is about 19% ABV so much stronger than most wines!.
