NO, I have been to the DR PEPPER musuem and tour several times!. It was named after a DR from a man who was in love with his daughter but didnt work out!. He did prescibe to patients!. If you ever mix amaretto and coke it tastes like dr!. pepper!.!.!.there's no prunes in amaretto!. Sometimes apricots, though!.!.!.

Not that I have been able to find!. I have drank it for over 20 years and even the ingredients do not list prune juice so I do not know where this started!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm pretty sure that's not 1 of the ingredients but it does have that type of taste to it!. The real recipe I do not know!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
