That, my friend is a drinking binge!. Binge drinking can sometimes be a benign drunk fest, but other times can cause big problems!. No-one should be drinking at work!. It is completley irresponsible, could definetley get you fired, and may even get you hurt or killed!. I wouldn't say your buddy is a full-blown alcoholic, or has a dependancy issue, but he sure does sound like a careless person!. Tell your buddy to use his head and think before he does something!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!!! There is a definite drinking problem, especially if he is drinking during his lunch hour!. Not only is this problematic, but he could also get in trouble at work for this behavior!. Unless he is staying in the office during lunch, or waiting until he gets to school to drink, he has to be driving after/before/during drinking!.

You should talk to your friend and tell him your concern!. He may be willing to listen to you, or he could deny he has a problem at all (which is most likely)!. Just be support of your friend and let him know you care!. You could suggest he go to AA meeting, they will help him be able to realize he does have a problem!.

It is possible his drinking started because he broke up with his girlfriend, but he should not have turned to alcohol to help the problem, because he is only going to make it worse!. Most people using/abuse alcohol refuse to admit they have a problem!.

Good Luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

He probably does have some sort of problem, first signs are when his personal relationships fall apart!. He can have a drinking problem and have enough sense not to drive!. I have known alot of people that have drinking problems that still make reasonable decisions!. Still doesn't mean they don't have a drinking problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're friend is growing up!.!.!. and when you grow up you think you can do things that adults do!. It's most likley a phase and will pass when you're friend realizes what he is doing is hurting his body!. If he doesn't stop withen the year it means most likely that it ia not a phase anymore!.!.!. that's when you need to get help!. Speeking of help I hope this helped!
