10 easy points! whats a good mixed drink?!
what are some good mixed drinks, i would prefer ones that are not girly like fuzzy navel ect!. but also not just pure alchol!. but ill take any suggestions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1/2 oz!. Vodka
1/2 oz!. Light Rum
1/2 oz!. Gin
1 oz!. Triple Sec
1-2 oz!. Sour Mix
1-2 oz!. Cola
Lemon Wedge
I don't put Tequila in mine!.!.!.
Vesper (007 James Bond's Martini):
3 oz!. Gin (usually Gordon's Gin)
1 oz!. Vodka
0!.5 oz!. Lillet Blanc or Dry Vermouth
Lemon Twist
Shaken!.!.!.not stirred!.!.and served extra chilled!. This drink AIN'T girly!.
Top Shelf Margarita, Rox, Salt:
1 1/2 oz!. "top shelf" Tequila
1/2 oz!. Cointreau
1/2 oz!. Grand Marnier
1/2 oz!. Rose's Lime Juice
3 oz!. Sour Mix
Rim glass with salt and add a Lime Wheel!. Sometimes I just go with an ounce of Cointreau or an ounce of Grand Marnier depending on the customers preference!. Or if just making a regular margarita go with regular Triple Sec in replace or the Cointreau/Marnier!.

I am surprised nobody has answered with the classic drink, the martini!. No I don't mean the sissy-fied vodka girly cocktail that James Bond drinks (yes, it is a girly drink) but the REAL martini!.
2 oz gin (I prefer Bombay Sapphire)
!.75 oz dry vermouth
The martini is all about the procedure!. Here is what I think works best!. Fill a cocktail shaker (or glass) with ice and pour in the vermouth!. STIR (don't shake) the to coat the ice!. Pour out the vermouth!. Add the gin!. STIR with the ice!. Strain the contents into a chilled cocktail glass (called a martini glass)!. Garnish with an olive (traditional), cocktail onion (called a Gibson or a Gibson martini), or a thin slice of lemon peel (very traditional)!.
Remember 1) martinis are made with GIN 2) martinis are STIRRED and 3) 007 drinks a wussy cocktail!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there was one i tried at a friends wedding, and i can't remember how much of what it had in it, but it had maraschino cherries, sprite, the cherry juice and peppermint shnapps!. it wasn't something that gets you really REALLY drunk, but it was good!.
or there was a somewhat creative one that i had at a birthday party!. get a bowl of sugar, lemon slices, and a bottle of tuaca!. then you wet your finger and stick it in the sugar, you take a shot of tuaca, lick your finger, then eat the lemon!. i think they were called Lemon Drops, because they tasted a lot like the candy!.
