How do I remove the lid from a Coke 5 gallon Keg?!
I have just purchased (2) 5 gallon pre-mix coke tanks!. How do I remove the lid!? it looks like it might take a special tool or something, is there a way around it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You want to release the pressure from the keg first and foremost!.
You can do this using one of the post fittings that you were given or purchased at the time you bought the cornelius kegs!.
Just put it on the "out" post and there goes the pressure!.

Many kegs have a pressure relief valve on the lid/port itself just lift it!. (much better)
Then just pull the release handle on the port!. It is sort of like opening a very large can of coke!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are not supposed to open them!. They are the property of the distibutor!. When a distributor actually sells you a keg, it includes the mechanism to open and re-seal it!. If it is legit, just pull on the lever and be prepared to clean coke syrup off all the walls!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I've drilled a hole in the bottom!. Use a cork to reseal it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
