What's a good inexpensive red wine to have on hand?!

Question: What's a good inexpensive red wine to have on hand!?
I'm looking for something that goes with pizza, pasta - you know, a quick weeknight dinner that's not fancy enough to justify opening one of my coveted Sinskey Pinots!.

I'm really interested in something I can reliably find that's not dependent on vintage, $15 or less ($10 or less even better!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is a LOT under $15, and quite a few under $10!. Best thing to do is not think of the five most common grapes on the shelf, and check out some other countries!. If you want quality stuff, start running through Spain!. Great stuff and way under priced right now!. Even better is Portugal, but they are still just breaking into the market!.
Carmenere from Chile is classic to, and can stand up to your Pinot Cravings!. Cab Franc from Loire (like a Chinon) are also very earthy and remind me of a good OR Pinot!.
Its important to get a good wine store and hit them up!. They are less likely to have mass marketed garbage!.
