Why don’t they sell Peppermint Schnapps at Albertsons?!
I live in Washington State, USA!. Is there some kind of weird law against German alcohol!?

also, I've recently moved to a county with somehow NO liquor stores anywhere!.
Is it because there's some sort of grain level that's not allowed outside of a liquor store!?
I'm not a drunk!. I rarely drink!. That's why I don't know where any liquor stores are or that there's no Schnapps at regular grocery stores!. I was just in the mood for some Peppermint Schnapps tonight!. Probably to deal with my parents!. Oh, I guess I'm out of luck unless I drive a hundred miles in any direction!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Washington state has liquor laws that prevent the sale of certain items over a certain percentage of alcohol content, so that's probably why you can't find it in convenience or grocery stores!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Texas has the same policy, you can only buy beer, wine or mixers in supermarkets and gas stations, if you want something stronger you have to shop in a liquor store!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

each state has different laws!. some states can sell liquor at the grocery store!. other staes you can only buy it at a liquor store, but still buy wine and beer at the grocery!. then theere's some states you can't buy anything at the grocery!. you have to go to a one store for beer, another for wine, and another for liquor!.
they havethe three seperate stores in PA and here's the kicker - you have to buy at least a 12 pack of beer!. you can only buy a six pack from a bar!.
military bases can make their own rules though!. i used to live on a marine corps base and you could buy all three even at the corner store, lol!
