Apart from re-cycle -
Cans can be crushed and used to frighten away birds near a veg plot, or stuck on to a fence for a nice sunny glare!.
Bottles can be used to fill homemede pineapple juice, elderflower cordial etc or
paint for a decrative shelf!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could paint the glass bottles with glass paint and put a candle inside it!?
I have no idea how you would get it inside the tiny opening, let alone light it lol!.
And it would probably go out from like!.!. lack of oxegen :P
