Softball coaches get drunk...?!
Everytime we have an away game my softball coaches get really drunk at the hotel!. Should i do something about it or just leave the situation alone!? (but what could i even do!?) Sometimes he says innapropriate things!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I feel this is something that you should not worry about unless the coach is at the game that way!. I would address him when he is sober and tell him how you feel but if he is in his room and not bothering anybody then it should be okay!. If he saying things that should not be said then I would also address that when he sobers up!. Most drunk people tell people how they really feel but afraid to do this when sober because they don't have the heart or just plain ole ashamed!. So take it in strive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would not think that is appropriate under any circumstances!. It doesn't really matter if he is a high school, college or just for fun coach!. He is in charge of a team and should anything go wrong it is his responsibilty and if he is hammered should something go wrong, he could face some serious charges!. I would report him to someone or have someone in a position of authority speak to him!. If I were you, I would ask that my name be kept out of it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes, you should do something!. Tell your parents!. Ask your friends to call their parents too!. Their is strength in numbers!. Never get into a car or van with someone who is drunk!. These coaches are setting a poor example and need your parents to speak to them!. I love the game but if I knew my kid was with drunk softball coaches at away games PLUS he was saying inappropriate things!.!.!.I would keep my kid from going until things changed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well, I was going to stick up for the coach and say there isn't anything wrong with alcohol when used responsibly!. Then you had to go and say "Sometimes he says innapropriate things!.!.!." Now, I'm forced to recommend you report it to the softball board with the help of your parents!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i would say something to someone asap!. he needs help and like others have said, you don't want something bad to happen to yourself, someone else or even him!. i wouldn't approach him yourself!. it's not your job!. is this a school team!? speak to someone at the school, a counselor!? is this a summer program!? than speak to whomever you pay dues/$$ to be on the team!. good luck, he has no right drinking while acting as coach!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You should really tell your parents or someone at your schooler!. They're legally responsible for the well being of you and your team, and I'm sure no one at your school would find being drunk permissible!. You have to tell your parents or someone with authority right away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take video of it on your cell!.!.!.if you or one of your friends have one and show it to the coaches' boss!. You shouldn't have to deal with this!. Is it a school thing or like a corporate thing !? Not sure now what to think!. If it bothers you that much, maybe just quit the team!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
