when you place ice into a fizzy drink, why does your drink fizz up more!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because ice disrupts the carbon bubbles that are still in the drink and not popped yet!. Its the same think if you stick anything in a fizzy drink!. Plus there is trapt air in the ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The coldness of the ice leaches the dissolved CO2 from the beverage!. If you need to know more then you'll have to take a chemistry class!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
