I pushed the cork into my wine bottle how do I keep it fresh. My turn for a silly question.?!
This is not an expensive wine, but I am a moderate drinker a glass a week!. Is it safe to drink with the cork in it!?

Buy a replacement or bottle stopper from your local grocery or liquor store!. Yes you can drink wine that has had a cork in it, though you'll probably need to skim the top first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
My mom purchased a wine bottle topper at a local home store!. Check out the one they have at Bed, Bath and Beyond!. It's under $10!.00!. If money is a problem, I would suggest wrapping in Syran or Cling wrap and using a rubber band to secure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Find an other bottle - transfer the wine - drink it - throw the bottle with cork - keep the one without cork - buy an other bottle - your question is silly - but this time you'll be forgiven

You shouldnt keep wine for a week anyway as it goes rancid!. Longest to keep it for is 3 days, in which the cork is not a worry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
