There are plenty of wines that match Mexican cuisine!. A few off the top of my head:
Crisp whites match very well!. Some people like off dry whites, like a reisling with spicy food!. If not too spicy, a dry sauvignon blanc from New Zealand is a great pick!. Avoid oaky wines, like California Chardonnay, though as the oak really doesn't match well with spices!.
For reds, you can take two different paths!. Look for high acid, low oak wines like Barberas from Italy (Not California as the style is completely different)!. Lighter wines with good fruit match really well!. You can get a bit bolder with a California Zinfandel or Australian Shiraz, but you need to be careful about oakiness and tannic levels!. Oak and tannin don't mesh with spiciness at all!.
Lastly, a decent sparkling wine matches great with flavorful food!.
If very spicy hot, then go with an off dry white, Margaritas or beer!. Heat and wine don't get along very well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure, serve a nice Sangria punch:
Cut up a pineapple , some cantelope, oranges, pomegranates, even some jicama if you could find it!. Place it into a punchbowl and add some red wine!. I like to use burgandy!. It takes a couple of bottles!. I hope your party turns out wellWww@FoodAQ@Com

Contrary to popular opinion, the best would be a good chilled Riesling!. The cold helps calm the spiciness of the tacos and goes good with the cheese!.
Riesling has a spicy character anyway so enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
