Take 7up or Mineral Water like Perier or something like that or even coke or diet coke, whatever, its in a typical red, blue or green plastic party cup anyway, right!? Throw in a lemon or lime wedge if they have one and, BOOM! It looks like an alcoholic drink, could be vodka, rum or whisky in with it, who cares except you!.

I know a guy who is an acoholic and he uses this trick to keep people from saying, "hey, have a drink--come on, party"!. He says he has a good time like normal and no one gets weird with him about drinking!. At bars, he has a straw in a glass of tonic, lime and ice--good stuff!

also, you could tell your friends you'll be designated driver if that's something you are interested in!. I have known a few friends to die in car crashes when either the driver or they were drunk!.

I hope this helps!. I know what its like to be around friends and the things they can do to 'make' you go off the wagon, go off your diet, break up relationships!.!.!.its rough!. I hope you can keep on track and stay away from drinking and concentrate on school, you'll do a lot better all the way around!. Good luck!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

By hooking up with the first guy you meet, leaving the party, and going back to his place!. That usually works pretty well to avoid drunk folks at the party!. Otherwise, if you stay at the party, you can't really avoid alcoholism!. Drinking and party go together like Ohio Colleges and STDs, you just don't find one without the other!.

If you don't like it, well, don't go to the party, or just learn to not be such a stuck up prude, and just deal with it!. Hell, you're in college, not grade school, grow up!.

Hah, very mature and witty come back there!.!.!.sticks and stones!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Either you must have a lot of Will Power when at parties that your friends are drinking at - This is VERY Hard - or find something else to do rather than going to the parties!. Talk with your friends and you might find you're not alone in wanting to stay away from alcohol!. Obviously you have seen that alcohol can be rather destructive and it could prove positive for you to do something different with your free time!. Check around campus and other groups and organizations should have opportunities!.

I totally understand your challenges from experience!.

I Hope this Helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Find a clean boy-friend - strive in your work, your studies, your occupatons, don't let an inch of emptiness in you personal life - enjoy high range teas and coffees+ mineral water - and let your drunkards drink - a so-called friendship built on alkohol is just a kind of shared sickness complicity -

Wasted people are despicable - let the animals and look for humans
