"fruity" alcohol drink???!
Ok i just turned 21 and im new to the whole bar thing!. I really dont like beer or wine, so i always get a margarita!. I really dont drink just to drink, i like drinks that have flavor to them!. And im tired of gettin the same thing!. So my question is- I know there are websites that have names tons of drinks and what they have inside them like juices and stuff, but if i go to a bar, and ask them to make me one of the drinks i saw in the website, Would they know what it is!?!? Do all bar tenders know all the drink name!?!?!? can anyone recomend me some good "fruity" drinks that are common!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

being a bartender, i have tried and concocted many fruity drinks!. one of my favorites i came up with i like to call an ectoplasm!. just introduce this drink to anyone and they willl be surprised how good it is, but be warned, just cause it tastes so good doesn't mean you should down them to quickly! just combine vodka, midori and 7-up/sprite!. definately more vodka and midori to taste!. delicious! antoher eyepopping drink i like to make is a version of the long island iced tea!. vodka, gin, rum, (some people use tequila too, but i just add a tiny bit) (these should all be clear liquors) and instead of the regular triple sec, use blue curacoa (same thing, just different color)!. roll the drink (meaning pass it from one glass to another to mix the liquors), then top with sprite/7-up!. and there you have a lovely blue drink that is a great conversation starter!. another version of this is the grateful dead!. very similair, but wait to add the blue curacoa until the end when you have already put the soda in!. take a bottle of blue curacao and a bottle of razzmatazz and just add a splash on opposite sides of teh glass!. done properly, it takes the two sided colors of the dead logo!. enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mojitos are excellent, and every bartender and their sister knows how to make them!. They have a sweet, minty lime flavor, like Rum and 7-up, but much better!.
I personally like whiskey sours, but they're pretty strong, so you may want to add grenadine or something to take the bite off a tad!.
Long Island ice teas are also delicious, and loaded with alcohol!.
That's about as fruity as my tastes allow!. Those SUPER-sweet drinks just give me a raging headache!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Being a drinking girl I can answer this!. You might wanna try a HURRICANE if youre not a lightweight!. Its fruity, but you wont get looked at like a fruitcake if youre drinking it!. You could also try a FUZZY NAVEL or a LEMON DROP! Hope that helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i enjoy cocktails in martini glasses and hurricanes and whatever coz they taste good!. cocktails have more alcohol than all your beers and scotches in one serve so all you ppl that think that cocktails are for girls then you should just keep our opinions to yourself!. beer and wine are just cheap ways to get drunk!.
