Is it safe to do this with a cigarette lighter?!
if im smoking a pipe with a normal bic cigarette lighter and i tap the material in the top of the bowl with the bottom of the lighter if the material is slightly flaming!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

the embers in the pipe arent going to be hot enough or large enough to melt through the lighter!. you will smother the ember before you even get close to going through the bottom of the lighter!. if there is an actual flame present then you will snuff it out when taping the "material" just dont hold the lighter in the flame because then you could melt it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
