Answers:
both are easy to make just go www!.homebrewshop!.com/kits!.html here is just one of many places to get the information to brew a batch!.I've made both & i like to make the beer best BC i let my beer age in the bottle for abt 1 yr(the residule yeast left in the bottle gives it a high alcohol level & richer flavor)wine ages real good like that also but i cork my bottles & they need to be laying down to keep the cork from drying out!.In either case dont get a cheap kit & follow the instructions that come with it you will like the end results!.Regardless if you are making beer or wine the longer it ages makes a better product!.after it has fermented dont get in a hurry abt getting it in the bottles(it ages in the primary as well as in the bottle) Just keep everything clean rinse all you equipment with clorox or other bleach & then rinse with cold water to get rid of the bleach!.This will sterilize the equipment!.Do this at the time of bottling!.the beer & wine will complete fermenting in abt 7-15 days, siphon it into a container (plastic buckett)add 2 cups of dextrose to the siphoned beer then bottle it!.Do not add any dextrose to the wine (unless you want champain or you want to have all your corks pushed of by the carbonation)bottle the wine store it & forget the beer & wine for abt 1 year,in the meantime store this in a cool dark place!.lay the wine bottles on its side to keep the cork moist!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Beer ages just as well as wine!. I've got beers aging that are 15 years old currently!. Homemade beer and wine is a little difficult to say as far as how long you can keep it!. It could be months or it could be years!.

Me!.!.!. I make beer!. My brother-in-law makes wine!. I like my beer more!. I like beer more than wine anyway!.

If you want to keep it for extended amounts of time increase the amount of hops and the sugar!.!.!. the sugar eventually becomes alcohol!. Alcohol and the oils from the hops act as preservatives!.

As far as how long it takes to make a beer!.!.!. it varies widely!. Usually about a month for your average batch!. But I'm currently working on an Imperial Stout that will take between 9 and 12 months to properly ferment!.
