Does alcohol go bad?!
I have some bacardi superior that has been unopened for about a decade!. Do you think that it can go bad!? or will it get stronger!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Liquor like rum, vodka, whiskey, etc!. will last many, many years stored properly (with the cap on, in a dark place)!. It will not get better in the bottle; alcohol is aged before it is bottled!. For example, whiskey is aged in wood barrels which impart its specific flavor and color!.
Mass-produced beer is intended to be consumed within a few months!. After that, the flavor will begin to dissipate!. Some higher-alcohol and bottle-conditioned beers (and wines) can be aged for years, and their flavors will become more mature and complex!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It doesn't go bad, its doesn't get better either!. Why would you buy a bottle of rum and keep it that long in the first place!? When I buy a bottle, I enjoy it right away!.

I had some Jose Cuervo that I found and I know it had been stored for a while and when I opened it It had the same taste but I didn't get a buzz off of a pint and I am not a big drinker!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Alcohol can go bad but it takes many many years!.!.!.this is especially true if air can get into it!. If it is air tight then probably not after just a decade!Www@FoodAQ@Com
not it will not go bad, infact alot of pricey liquors are aged for over 20 years!. it will not get stronger or loose any alchohal!.
