Did the bartender cheat me?!

Question: Did the bartender cheat me!?
I went to a restaurant to celebrate my nephews baptism in the banquet room!. I asked the bartender behind the counter if I could have a coke and he poured me a full size glass of coke!. Then I asked him if I could have a Bacardi whiskey 151!. So he poured surprisingly very little into my glass of coke (around 8 tablespoons) of it into my coke and didn't even stir it or mix it!. I was charged $8 for it!. Sodas like coke or sprite are free because this took place during my nephews baptism in the banquet room (the nephews parents paid for all the food and sodas except for whiskey or alcohol)!. When I walked outside of the restaurant, the sign for alcoholic drinks were priced at $3 or $4!.

Why do you think the bartender charged me about twice the price of the advertised price outside for alcoholic beverages!?
Could it have something to do with putting it into a full size glass of coke and not in a shot sized glass!?
He didn't even put that much into my glass of coke!?

Answers:
The sign outside the place probably said wells or house drink like if you go to Chili’s I can order vodka and sprite & get it for like $3 dollars but whenever you ask for a specific liquor usually you wont ask for something cheep they will give you premium liquor like Grey Goose and now you will pay $6 to $8 dollars per drink now it sounds like the bartender added the alcohol to your previous drink which is very unprofessional if he did!. also the cup was probably a small one you were really paying for the alcohol not the soda!. Hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eight tablespoons is a lot of 151!.
He prolly served you a double shot, hence $8!.

ADD: Giovanni,m'bare,I agree!.
To not mix a new drink was slovenly and unprofessional of the bartender, unless that was the request,ie "just dump the booze in my glass"Www@FoodAQ@Com

You 'called out' a top shelf liquor!. Although I think that is too high, that may be their price for top shelf call drinks!. When they advertise 'cheap' liquor prices, that is generic 'speed rack' crap!. You get what you pay for!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

brand of whiskey
and by the way, u should have ask the bartender those questions coz ONLY he can give u the answer-
asking questions is a CUSTOMER RIGHTWww@FoodAQ@Com
