How do you get certified as a "Sommelier"?!

While there are many organizations which offer sommelier classes, the true true sommeliers are considered those that went through the Court of Master Sommelier program!.

There are 4 levels of tests to pass!. The first is relatively easy, and most people pass!. As the levels go up and up it gets very difficult!. Speaking from experience, these are hard tests!. At the 2nd level onwards, you have to do a written test, service test, and blind tasting!. When I took the first test, I believe you were required to be in the wine business at least 3 years, but that may have changed!. Good luck!.
