Question: I need a drink for the 4th of July that is nonacloholic and has red white and blue in it!.!?
Preferably i would like it to be layered not necisarily in the red white and blue order, but anything would help thanks!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
you could make smoothies in 3 separate colors/flavors!.

red: strawberry or cherry
white: coconut, maybe banana could come out white
blue: blueberry!.

the thickness of the ice will keep them fairly separate, you don't need alcohol if you use ice or ice cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Red, White, and Blueberry Freezee

1 c Whipping cream
1/2 c Frozen blueberries
1 ds Lemon juice
1 x Sugar to taste
Small Strawberries for garnish

Mix together the whipping cream, blueberries, lemon juice, and sugar in a blender!.

Top with a few strawberries!. This refreshing drink is great on a hot day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not layered, but you can serve them all together on a platter!.!.!.

Cranberry Punch (Red)
Red drinks aren't hard to come by, especially with all the summer berries in the markets right now!. A tart and sparkling punch is my red selection!. You'll be making this from scratch, so start it well before your party is due to start!.

4 1/2 lbs whole cranberries
2 cups water
1 quart club soda
1/2 tbs whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick (2-inch)
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
In a large pot, mix water, cranberries, cloves and cinnamon together and bring to a boil!. Then reduce heat down to a simmer!. Let simmer for about 20 minutes!. Strain out the berry pulp and stir in sugar!. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved!. Take pot from heat!. Pour in orange juice and lemon juice!. Chill mixture in the fridge!. Add club soda right before serving!.

White Grape Juice Punch (White)
White is a bit more complicated to make into a beverage, but I would think that any clear drinks would fit the bill!. Here is another carbonated punch, for white!. It's simple and quick!.

2 quarts white grape juice
1 quart ginger ale
Right before serving, pour together both ingredients (already chilled)!. Because this punch is colourless and a bit dull to look at, it's often served with fruit frozen into ice cubes!.

Blue Hawaiian Punch (Blue)
With no real blue juices out there to work with (even blueberry juice is mostly purple), this is as close as I could get for my blue selection!. Besides, Kool-Aid is great in the summer!.

2 pkgs Berry Blue Kool-Aid drink mix powder
1 quart club soda
2 cans frozen Pina Colada drink mixer
2 cups sugar
Mix Kool-Aid powder and sugar (according to the directions), and add frozen Pina Colada mixer!. Stir until blended and then pour in club soda right before serving!.

Here's another one!.!.!.

Red, White and Blue

Don't be fooled by the simple title, this one can be difficult!. But, being delicious and gorgeous, sometimes sacrifices have to made if you want to serve tricolored, triple-layered cocktails of beauty!. Our fore fathers knew sacrifice, and as an American, you can handle this!. Get out some tall slim glasses (pilsner or high balls) and set out everything you will need!. This is a multi-step frozen drink, and you will need to be quick!.

First, make enough pina colada to fill up each glass you are serving!. This will be our base so make it a thick consistency!.

Pina Colada (per drink)
1 shot light rum - OMIT THIS
5 oz pina colada mix (or 2 parts pine apple juice to 1 part coconut cream)
crushed ice

Mix as much pina colada as you need!. Then set aside 2/3 in a pitcher and remember to be quick!. First, the Blue:

1)With 1/3 of the prepared pina colada in the blender, add a shot of Blue Curacao - EITHER MIX IN BLUE FOOD COLORING, OR ADD SOME BLUE RASPBERRY KOOL-AID
2)Blend quickly, just enough to make it a nice even blue
3) Pour into glasses, gently pounding the glasses against the table to get a nice even base layer

Now the white:

4)Rinse blender out, pouring 1/3 of pina colada into blender
5)With leftover 1/3, pour into glasses, layering the white on top
6)Pound the glasses again gently, for a firm layer

And finally, the red:

7)With pina colada in blender, add strawberry puree( or grenadine in a pinch)
8)Blend quickly, just enough to make red throughout
9)Pour mix on top of white layers

Garnish with whipped cream and your favorite fruit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

few drops of food coloring can make even plain water seem exciting!
To double the effect, fill an ice cube tray with colored blue water or colored red water!. Then you can add to a drink of opposite color like koolaid or punch

Frozen Fruit Smoothies or Virgin Strawberry Daiquiris are a great red idea!. Top them with whipped cream (white) and a few blueberries (blue)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can't layer nonalcholic stuff, it is the variable alcohol content that permits the layering!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shirley Temple with blueberries!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sprite then freeze red and blue koolaid ice cubesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Are you serious!? Lmao!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
