Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sovignon!
My parents have been huge Robert Mondavi fans for years!. They never gave us alcohol just for the sake of alcohol (if you know what I mean by that!.!.!.) but they taught me how to smell and taste the notes in wine from the time I was probably 15!. It's given me an appreciation for it, and I have to say, cheap 6 dollar bottles your friends buy are distinctly different from these!. If you really are about enjoying the flavor {as opposed to drink-to-get-drunk}, Mondavi's napa valley wines are spectacular!.
However, a good red wine for about 10 dollars is "McWilliams Shiraz"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
