Why do people act suprised when i say i dont drink alcohol?!
im 20 years old !.i used to drink a lot but i didnt drink while pregnant for obvious reasons and now my daughter is 8 months old and i dont want to go back drinking !.i always get a funny look when i say i dont drink!.I was at a wedding and the next morning everyone was hungover and i felt fantastic that i didnt have one !.instead of drinking alcohol in a pub i have a coke as people dont know if there is vodka or not in it and i dont fancy spending 12 pounds to get into a nightclub!.ide rather go home to my baby early !.ive been out twice since having her and the latest back home 12Www@FoodAQ@Com

It must be the people you're around - and considering that they're probably around 21, they're still intrigued by liquor:) !.!.!.!. You'll find that the older you get, the less people feel the "need" to drink:) !.!.!.!.!. I order Virgin Marys alot (they even have the celery stalk), but usually coffee - and my husband usually orders ice tea or diet coke!. Occasionally, he'll have a beer, and I'll have a frozen margarita, but we just don't feel it's necessary to drink for the sake of drinking - and neither do any of our friends!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Who cares what they think or why they act that way towards you!. Its a choice you've made and they do not like have to like it or understand it!.!.I very rarely drink!. If I do its maybe a wine cooler or two on New Years and seriously thats all I drink all year if that!. I find it more fun watching the drunk people and laughing at them, then them laughing at me!. And also I do not have to wake up the next morning wondering where I am, who I slept with, or how to cure my hangover!. For me there is more to life than drinking alcohol!.!.
