For a shot, you mix it with water and sugar!.!.!. The proper way is to get an absinthe spoon (a bar spoon with holes) and place it over the shot glass!. Place a Sugar cube on top of the spoon and pour about 3/4 of the shot glass full with absinthe!. Then light the sugar cube on fire and wait until it melts into the shot glass!. then pour a little water on top to make sure the fire is out and all the sugar is in the shot!. then take the shot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ice cold water over a sugar cube and slotted spoon!. Once the absinthe turns a cloudy white color stop!. it is now ready to drink!.
There are different varieties of absinthe with it's original homeplace in Switzerland ( where it is banned form being made ) to the more traditional and mainstream Parisian and Bohemian versions!. LaFee is a good starting absinthe to try!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've found that mixing 30ml absinthe with @ 300ml of a cola drink (Coca-Cola, etc!.!.!.) makes a pretty good mix!. You can try variation with CherryCoke thats good as well!. Just make sure you drink it cold!. Enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
