So i drink on the weekends and holidays...?!
I use to consider a alcoholic someone who gets drunk at all but now that i drink i consider an alcoholic someone whom gets drunk in a non-social situation, like by themselves, whats your take!? Am i just trying to stay positive not calling myself one (partying one weekend night a week and holidays) or is an alcoholic an alcohol addicted individual!? Random but im bored thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

A true alcoholic is addicted to alcohol and has serious withdrawls without it and need hospitalization for detox to stop because its dangerous!. A person that is alcohol dependant drinks heavy like an alcoholic but does not get DT's!. is not physically addicted!. An alcohol abuser is one that gets Hammered when they drink and just can't seem to not drink without over doing it!. Then there is the casual and social drinker!. Those folks can take it or leave it and it is just social drinking or a for a bit of relaxation on occasion!.

im from aus but me and my friends would say you are a social drinker !.!.!.!.theres nothing wrong about having a drink by yourself to relax or just coz you want to but its what you do and weather you can stay in control or not !.!.!.!.my brother was/is an alcoholic and it was terrible he would be crashing his car all the time ending up in hospital coming home drunk and treating me and my other brother like ****, getting alco poisoning untill one day he got so drunk he passed out in his car and hit an elderly couple that wer in there car at the lights (there physically fine now) but my bro almost died and lost his eyebrow and most his vision i never been able to look at him the same!.!.!.!.!.!.basically if you can say no and your not an agressive drunk then you have no prob as long as you dont drink in the wrong situations (work,driving,you get the point) hope this helpsWww@FoodAQ@Com
Do you crave alcohol all day long!?!? If not then you're all good!. Alcoholics are people who CRAVE it and drink it every single day!. also, when you drink on the weekend, do you drink to get drunk or just hang out!? Theres a big difference!. If you are drinking to get drunk then you are trying to escape reality which most alcholics do!. I def wouldn't consider you a alcoholic since I'm pretty much the same way with alcohol!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
