Bartenders?? how do you make the BEST mojito?!

Question: Bartenders!?!? how do you make the BEST mojito!?
how is your mojito different!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
the "BEST" mojito is the original recipe where it was created in Cuba!. It's pretty simple actually but the process, time, and attention to detail is what makes a good mojito!. Theres got to be some TLC in making the Mojito!. Mind you this is my favorite drink, so i take pride in making my mojitos good!.

10-12 Mint Leaves
2 pinches of Cane Sugar
3 Lime Wedges
1 1/2oz!. Bacardi Rum
Club Soda

This is the original Recipe but i add a few different ingredients because i have a sweeter palate i like my drinks to taste a bit sweeter!.

My extra Ingredients:
1/2 oz!. Peach Schnapps
Splash of Sweet N' Sour
Splash of Sprite

IMPORTANT NOTE:
All ingredients need to be fresh to make an amazing mojito!!!
ie: limes, mint, etc!.

Now You ready to make the best mojito ever!.!.!.

-In a pint glass ( 16oz!. glass ) put the mint leaves in, squeeze the 3 lime wedges and leave one of the lime wedges in ( whenever you have fresh fruit in a drink you want to leave it in for the taste get all the citrus out of the peel ie: lemondrops, cosmos, etc!. etc!.) add the cane sugar , a splash of sweet n sour, the bacardi , and the peach schnapps!.

-This is the key here to muddle, ya shaking is faster but if you want to get the real sense of the mojito then you muddle!. I throw in a couple of ice cubes to help crush the mint a bit easier!.

-Now fill the glass with ice

-Another splash of sweet n sour!.

-Almost top of to the top with soda water!.

-Get a shaker and shake a few times just to mix up everything up really good!. Sugar the Rim of the glass and pour contents from the Tin (Shaker) back into the sugar rimmed glass and with some sprite rinse out the Tin and pour the remaining contents back into the Cocktail!.

No straw just drink sort of like a margarita!. And it is the best mojito!. If your like me, you wish you wouldn't have made such a great mojito cause now my regulars and friends alike constantly are asking me to make them one and sometimes when your busy at the bar you just dont have time to make 10,000 mojitos!.

Dont accept lime juice as a substitute that stuff is disgusting!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!.25oz!. bacardi limon
!.75oz!. triplesec
5-7 fresh mint leaves
2 lime wedges
splash of lime juice (rose's is pretty good, so is finest call)
about 2 oz!. simple syrup
soda water

squeeze lime wedges into mixing tin in and drop in!. add mint leaves, rum, triplesec, lime juice, and simple syrup!. add enough ice to fill the glass the cocktail will be served in, cap mixing tin and shake HARD about 10 times!.

empty contents into glass and top with soda water!.

this usually works well in a pint glass and the shaking method works just as well as muddling in about half the time!. it also retains the shape of the mint leaves better and makes for a better looking cocktail!.
