I'm looking for a Sangria recipe that is easy, only uses wine (no brandy or rum) and has cinnamon & other spices in it!. also, I want lots of fruit - citrus, berries, apples, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's one I like:

- dry red table wine
- sliced oranges
- sliced strawberries
- blueberries
- raspberries
--- mix all of the above in a big jar/jug and add some nutmeg and cloves to taste (I dont eat cinnamon at all, but add some if you want)
Refrigerate this over-night

And here's the twist: Add some chilled sparkling apple cider right before serving!.

Ingredients2 gallons Zinfandel
1 cup brandy
1/2 cup Cointreau
2 quarts orange juice
2 cups lemon juice
1 cup superfine sugar
12 to 16 ice cubes
2 quarts chilled club soda
3 oranges, thinly sliced
3 lemons, thinly sliced
PreparationThoroughly chill all ingredients!. Pour the wine, brandy and Cointreau into a large punch bowl!. Stir orange and lemon juice with the sugar until sugar has dissolved!. Then add to bowl and stir to blend!. Add ice cubes and soda and garnish with fruit slices!. Serve in 4-ounce punch glasses or wineglasses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

INGREDIENTS

* 4 (750 milliliter) bottles red wine
* 1 1/4 cups white sugar
* 2 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
* 4 sliced fresh peaches
* 2 bananas, peeled and sliced
* 2 cinnamon sticks, crushed
* 3 liters lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

DIRECTIONS

1!. In a large pitcher, combine red wine, sugar, apples, peaches, bananas and cinnamon sticks!. Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight!.
