Why does my husband keep his Vodka in the freezer? and Mine is on the shelf?!
I am new at the vodka thing, and got some really yummy kind called BLUE ICE!
His is some Swedish kind, and its in the freezer, what gives!?

If you're hubby is into taking shots or sips of straight vodka, then the freezer is the place for his vodka!.

making it as cold as possible helps, you don't have more ice melting in it if you mix it with ice, and coctails will taste better!. generally I prefer my strait-alcohols all in the freezer: rum, tequila, vodka, so when i make my drinks they have less water involved!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It is best when you can serve it chilled!. If left a room temperature, then poured on ice, ice melts faster!. Find a place for yours in the freezer!. I have 4 different kinds in the freezer!. Try Absolute Mandarin or Raspberry Stholi - both very good, well if you like flavored vodka!Www@FoodAQ@Com
He's just keeping it chilled, you don't have to keep it there but it saves time after a hard day, I keep mine in the freezer as well, it's nice not having to wait, especially after a long hard day at work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Probably because he likes to drink it chilled!. You can get the same effect by putting in a cocktail shaer with some ice and shaking vigorously, but storing it in the freezer saves that step!.
