The legal age for the consumption of alcohol in the UK in a public house or bar is 18 and in all probability you will be asked for ID if you are underage!. It is an offence to ask older people to buy alcohol for you, and if you are seen carrying alcohol through the streets, you will more than likely be stopped by the police!.
