I work in a Grocery store that sells beer and wine, and they start hiring at 17!.

My girlfriend works at a restaurant that has a bar, and she's 19!. There are people there slightly younger than herself that work there, but I think the underage people are not allowed to carry alcohol to the table, they have to make someone else run it after it's prepared!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It probably varies from state to state, but in California the law is that you need to be 18 to serve alcohol and 21 to pour alcohol (if you wanted to be a bartender!.) I've never worked in a restaurant, but considering the law, I'd say you could probably get a job as a host/hostess or a busboy if you are still a minor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can work at a restaurant that serves booze when you're 15 in Iowa, but the servers can't carry it!. Someone 18 or over has to carry it to the table, and someone 21 or older prepares the drinks!. But you can still be a waiter/waitress, hostess, dishwasher, or cook (but can't touch the slicer)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you would be serving the alcohol then whatever the legal age for cosuming alcohol would be!.!. ie/ america = 21, australia = 18, etc!.!.

but you can work in a place that serves alcohol if you are underage, you just can't serve it!.!. at least you can in australia!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends what job you're doing, and where you live!. You're not allowed to be behind a bar unless you're 18!. Some states you're allowed to serve alcohol at 18, but I think most are 21!.

I think you can wash dishes as young as 15!. But you can only work so many hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

depends on where you live and the legal rights!. Usually it is the same as to drink alcohol!. So In BC Canada where I am it is 19, but in Alberta CA it is 18!. In the U!.S!. I am pretty sure it is 21 across all the states but there could be exceptions!.!.!.!. I'm not sure!. sorry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No minimum as a server for food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
