Yup, I see some others have the same conclusion!. For beer with variety and better taste, here is your answer: SAM ADAMS
The Boston Beer Company (NYSE: SAM) is an American brewing company founded in 1985 by Jim Koch in Boston, Massachusetts, USA!. The beers were originally contract brewed by the Pittsburgh Brewing Company, though today, more than 60% of its beer is produced at the company's Cincinnati brewery!. Miller is also a contract brewer for up to 100% of total production!. The brand name for the beers is Samuel Adams (often abbreviated to Sam Adams, even in advertisements), after Samuel Adams, a brewer and an American patriot famous for his role in the American Revolution!.
After the sale of Anheuser-Busch to InBev on July 14, 2008, the Boston Beer Company became the largest American owned brewing company!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are many microbreweries in the US!. Depending on where you live, you will also surely discover many different beer styles, whether light and drinkable, or malty and dark, or simply more bitter through hops!. They may cost a bit more, but they'e made local and taste much better than the standardized light American lager beer!.
And if you don't find something, ask your bartender or liquor store owner!. They can surely help!.
And BTW - watch out for quasi-micros that really aren't like Kona, Shock Top or Blue Moon!. They come from Bud & Coors, respectively!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Anchor Steam (San Francisco) if you like microbrew and beer with a kick!.
Sierra Nevada if you like Ale!.
Sam Adams - variety of lagers for every season
I like beer if you can tell, There are A LOT of American breweries/beers/ales/lagers that are far better than Bud!. Time to broaden your horizon and change your taste!. You will enjoy the experience!. Like I always say - Life is too short to drink cheap beer or bad wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you want to stick with lagers
North Cost Brewing CO!. (San Diego, CA)
Scrimshaw Pils
Victory (Pennsyvania)
Prima Pils
Full Sail Brewing Co!. (Oregon)
Sessions Lager
Left Hand Brewing (Colorado)
Polestar Pilsner
New Belgium (Colorado)
Blue Paddle
But if want to try a fuller bodied pale ale with a nice bitterness there are tons of great ones out there!. Let me know if you are interested!.
Oh BTW- The beers forementioned (the first being my favorite) are domestic craft microbrewed beers that tend to cost maybe a buck or two extra than your mass produced ones, but trust me once you taste the difference you'll never go back!. Life is way too short to drink tasteless beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
