Do you prefer cheap.....?!
wine or expensive wine!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

cheapWww@FoodAQ@Com
Depends!.
There are loads of "cheap" wines that are perfectly fine as a table wine with dinner, especially something very savory or flavorful!. Good spaghetti hardly needs a wine to enhance it, you just want something nice and red to compliment it!. My generic table red and white are $11 and $8 each!.
For wine that needs to stand alone or that's got to stand up to scrutiny you need to look harder!. I know wines under $20 that I would serve without hesitation to anyone at a wine tasting or wine+something tasting (cheese, whatever)!. Snobs might turn up their nose at a $17 14 Hands Merlot or $16 Tin Roof Cab Sav or $20 CdB Valley Reserve, but if they don't see the sticker or label I bet they'd enjoy it!.
There are certainly expensive wines that are worth it for special occasions, especially good Champagne or a very unusual White Bordeaux or reserve Old World wine!. That doesn't mean I'm going to stock my cellar with triple digit wines!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It dependends on what you mean by "cheap!." There are many inexpensive wines in today's market that can rival many of the more costly one's!. Many of the expensive wines are that way because of the rarity of the wine and some because of expensive processing in attempts to produce a perfect or 100 rated wine!.
My rack consist of anything from $9 to $50!. I have had wine that is well over that cost and found them to be very, very good!. I just don't think they are that much better than the lower priced wines that I enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Price is not always the indication as to how well you will like a wine!. Several blind taste tests have confirmed that!.
However, from personal experience, my preferences are wines that are not cheap!. Most times, a more costly wine has much more flavor and is much more interesting!. Some cheap wines taste like bad fruit juice with a shot of alcohol!.

But much like craft beer!.!.!.in wines you can find some really great ones on the cheap!. Modovi's Pinto is excellent, Boga (slightly more expensive, but still cheap) makes some great reds, S7ven Deadly Zins for under $20 is a personal favorite!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Price doesn't enter into it really, except for the REALLY expensive stuff!. You go along until you find something you really like - and that's it!. The wine I prefer is a dry white chardonnay that has been aged in oak and is around $22 a bottle - but that's only what I drink when at dinner somewhere - at home it is Scotch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
the price of wine doesnt really determine if it'll be good or not!. i've had excellent wine under $10 and i've had repulsive ones that are over $40!. it's all a matter of taste and preference!. some wines are good but because they are not well known they're priced cheap!. others are over rated!. the key is be adventurous and try new stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Something I learned from a wine expert a long time ago!. Price has nothing to do with good wine!. If it tastes good on your palate, and you like the taste, it doesn't matter if it's seven dollars or seven hundred a bottle!. That is a good wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well i aint had much wine in my days!. but i think i would stick with the cheap stuff!. do you wanna get drunk or just have somthin romantic for yalls romantic meal!. well im not in to the romantic dinner but i am in to the drunken deal!. go with mad dog 20 20 its like 1!.99 a bottleWww@FoodAQ@Com

Price shouldn't be a concern when seeking out quality in any product!. There's plenty of good reasonably priced wines even some that could be considered cheap!. On the other hand I've had some pretty awful expensive wines!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
