Answers:
It depends on how well you tip your bartender!. I tip 20% at a few places I hang out and most of my shots are doubles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The single is enough for casual drinking and has 1-1!.5 oz!. and 4 oz!. mixer like cola over ice and costs roughly $5!.
The double is enough to get someone drunk quicker because it is served in same bar glass and has 2-2!.5 oz!. alcohol and 2-3 oz!. mixer like cola over ice and costs roughly $8-10!. The latter generally has a purpose other than casual drinking, like a headache, destressor, catch up with drunk friends etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

single is generally 1-1/2 fl!. oz!. of 80 proof liquor!. Double=3oz!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A double shot has double the liquor!. That is the only difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The amount and subsequently the price!. A single shot is one ounce, a double shot is two ounces!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!.5 fl oz
3 fl ozWww@FoodAQ@Com

It's just the amount!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A double is 2 shotsWww@FoodAQ@Com

single=1!.5 oz
double=3 ozWww@FoodAQ@Com

double, being twice the amount of a regular shot (single)Www@FoodAQ@Com
