It's just a malt beverage (not vodka based as a PP suggested), meaning it starts from a mix similar to sugar water, and is fermented so that some of that sugar turns to alcohol, but plenty of it remains, keeping it very sweet!. Some flavorings are added, and voila!. It tastes good, but has an alcohol content similar to beer!.
