Drinking for the first time + a girl?!

Question: Drinking for the first time + a girl!?
A good friend of mine invited me to a party she is throwing!.
She knows that I have never drank before, but that I am interested in trying it!. She and I agree that this would be a good firs time, with lots of friends and people to watch over me!. Everyone is going to be sleeping at her house after the party, so I don't have to worry about driving home or anything!. I do have work at 9am the next morning, which is a problem, but she can't have the party any other night (I can show up to work late though, so no problem there)!.
I'm posting here looking for any advice about drinking and how to avoid hangover!. Maybe advice on what I might not expect, but what could happen!. Just general advice on this situation!.
also, a girl I am interested in will be there!.!.!. Any tips on that!?
I'm rather shy, but the alcohol might help with that!.
Thanks in advanceWww@FoodAQ@Com

My advice is to only have a couple drinks!. When you first start drinking it's easy to get carried away and get sick!. Once you get used to it, you'll learn your limits!. When I first started drinking, I drank way too many because I didn't know that I was drinking more than I could handle!.

Plus, if you are trying to impress a girl - being wasted and sloppy drunk will not help you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ya dude take it easy!. you usually get a pretty bad hangover the very first time because your body dosent know whats going on!. but the next time will be MUCH better!. Im assuming that you are an average male (5"9" 160 lbs) i would take no more then 5 shots your first time!. just take it easy and stop worrying to much!Www@FoodAQ@Com
