Why is drinking alone looked down on so much?!
I have many friends but almost all of them dont drink alcohol!. I do (and i am 16 AND DONT F*CKING GIVE ME A LECTURE CUZ LIKE IM REALLY GUNNA STOP CUZ OF SOMEONES ANSWER ON YAHOO!.!.!.)!. Because of this, i drink by myself every now and then!. Most times not to get wasted but just to get tipsy and feel relaxed!. Is it dumb to do this by myself or should i get some other people!?

Because lots of people drink for social reasons, or are social drinkers!. If you're alone, you're clearly not being a social drinker, so it gives the appearance that you have a problem or are drinking because you need it!.

I think it's just the worry that a person who likes to drink on their own will get "on the slippery slope" to alcoholism before they can be helped and then,when someone realises they need help,they wont admit it and will get really ill!. So I suppose it comes from worry about a person!. But,if you know your limit and are sensible enough not to go over it,then tell others they needn't worry!. Do be honest with yourself at all times about this though,incase anything like that creeps up on you!. (not a lecture,just a kind word,I promise)Www@FoodAQ@Com

First of all, if responsible drinkers were all 16, then the legal drinking age would be 16, NOT 21!. Anyways, drinking alone when maybe your having wine with dinner or whatever is fine, IF YOUR 21!.!.!. go be normal and play baseball or read a book!.
