Trouble with this is most bars hand pour it!.!.!.you never know exactly how much you're getting!. It could be 1!.5oz, it could be 2!.0oz or it could be 1!.0oz!. If you are using exact measurements!.!.!.liquor with zero calorie mixers like water or diet sodas is best!. Of course it is debatable if diet sodas should even be consumed when watching one's weight!. Its biggest bonus is that if you stay away from sugary rums and liqueurs you have zero carbs, but as everyone knows except the late Dr!. Atkins!.!.!.carbs aren't that bad for you!.

Wine averages 125 calories per serving, with 5oz being the recommended serving size!. The problem here is two fold!. First, you rarely ever get 5oz when you order a glass of wine!. Two calories vary from wine to wine!. You can have to cabs and one will have 98 calories and the other will have 160!. If it isn't on the label!.!.!.you don't know!.

Light beer in a bottle is your best choice when watching your weight!. You always know exactly how many calories you are taking in!.!.!.it's printed on the label!. All light beers have less than 124 calories and the average is around 95-98 per 12oz serving!.

If you are like me and you prefer your alcohol to have taste, you can drink Guinness!. Surprisingly it has 125 calories per 12oz serving!. Missed being a light beer by 1 calorie!.

Personally, as stated above!.!.!.I like taste!. I drink regular beer and I've been able to maintain a reasonable weight for many years!. I do this by walking!. I walk to the bar, I walk to the grocery store and I take the stairs!. I exercise!.!.!.the only real way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in!. And last but probably the most important:

I skip the 2AM burritos!. That late night after bar dinner/breakfast of greasy, fatty foods is what causes most people to gain weight!. Not the alcohol!.

most spirits will give you less calories per drink than wine or beer!. If you have a diet mixer ie vodka and diet coke then per drink it is less fattening than the others!. also add ice and drink slower!. It takes approx an hour for your body to process one unit of alcohol sothose two double tequilas at closing time won't even kick in until after you tucked up in bed asleep on your kebab!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have to give up one thing or another!.!.!.eat less food or drink less alcohol!.

Don't eat bread or rice stuffs becuase in alcohol it's full of those anyway!.!.!.eat fruits and water before you drink to prevent hangover!.

Drink pure spirits or whiskey with water and twisted lime in it!.

Whiskey with soda and twisted lime!.

As someone above said, diet cola and bacardi has about 60 calories per serving!.

Guinness DRAUGHT actually isn't too bad at about 120 calories per pint, and if you like beer, it's like a yummy beer milkshake! The STOUT is a different story!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ie 100 proof 100 calories per ounce
same as eating raw sugar (no fat )
wine coolers have loads of calories
light beer is about the lowest (also low in carbs)

Bacardi rum and caffeine free diet coke!. It has no carbs and is low in calories!. When I was on the Atkins diet, this is what I drank, and it worked!. If you do not believe me!. look at the bottle of Bacardi!. It says the same thing I told you right on the bottle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i thought vodka had the least calories,you can mix it with lots of non sugar drinks like fanta, coke, lemonade and my husbands favourite Irn Bru (scotlands cocacola)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gin has about 74, depending on proof!.

Squeeze in some lime or lemon juice and a little splenda with alot of ice!.
