Answers:
I wouldn't recommend beer!.
Just try cocktails-those are mixed drinks!.
If you want to see ideas about what are in things, look at the ingredients in them!.
I go to this website:
www!.alcoholicdrinks!.net

Search through them and stop when they look interesting!.
It wouldn't hurt to look through some cocktail books either!

Winecoolers ar no big deal!. Those should be fine!.
Try Smirnoff (sp!?)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have never drank wine, I would suggest that you start off with a white wine!. Preferably something light and fruity like a sauvignon blanc, a pinot grigio, fume blanc!. Some people prefer white zinfindel, which is a pink fruity wine!. You could also try a good champagne or sparkling wine!. An Italian sparkling wine such as a presecco is usually a good one!. It is fruity and light!. If you have a Trader Joe's or Cost Plus around you, you might want to check those places out for bargain wines!.

Red wine is bolder than white, depending on the red varietals, some may be very smooth while others may be acidic and tanin!.

Wine coolers were great as a starter for me when I was in college, then I moved to white, than to red!. I now prefer drinking red wine!.

Am not really a beer person, but when I do drink beer, I like a good Belgian beer like Chimay!. Cocktail drinks like margaritas are great with mexican food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would definetly start out with something fruity, probably not a wine cooler but more like mike's hard lemodade, smirnoff, or twisted teas (if you like iced tea you will love those), as far as wine goes again start off fruity with Wild Vines or something, then maybe buy a box of pink wine, my personal fav!. Red wine is very stong, you will start feeling buzzed after one glass but if you don't like the taste of it it's tough to drink!.

as far as liquor goes, don't buy cheap vodka, and mix it with your fav drink!. that way you don't have to put much vodka in if you don't like the taste of the alc itselfWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you've never drank alcohol then i strongly suggest staying away from wine!. I thought it would taste ok when i first tried it but then when i did i found out it tastes like CRAP!. i reccomend taking some straight shots with a chaser (coke, pepsi) or beer is always great!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mojito or Pina Colada are very good cocktails!.
also if you drink wine and you feel that it is too strong for you- mix it a with bit of water, or you can mix white wine with a bit of apple juice :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I 've never found a wine I like!. There's flavored beer that you may like!. I like the green apple!. However I'm a big Tequila Rose Fan!. Give it a try it's a creamy strawberry flavor!. Hope you fined something that you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

don't drink it, you'll end up passed out on your lawn, then a few weeks later you'll notice a big lump on your belly and you will have a child within 9 months!. Don't drink!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love gin & Dr!.Pepper thats good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Beer and wine both taste pretty nasty!. They're fermented, which essentially means they've been allowed to go bad!. You have to develop a taste for them!. "Dark" beers tend to have a much stronger flavor of yeast and funk!. Guinness is one of the darkest!. Lighter beers tend to be a little more tolerable!. Heinekin, and Corona Light are pretty decent!. Budweiser's also OK!.

Wine is!.!.!. not for beginners!. I've yet to find a white wine I can stomach!. You'd be better off taking straight shots in my opinion!. Red wines are kind of iffy!. I'd just try a cheap burgundy if you want to practice!. The other stuff have really nasty flavors!.

Wine coolers, hard cider, and drinks of this nature have a sweet fruity taste!. Try not to get hooked!.

Margaritas can be sweet, or salty, or both!. They have a tang that's interesting!. I'd recommend the blue pacific or the Chambord 1800 from chilli's, but be aware that they contain two servings of alcohol!.

Hard liquor burns, and since there's so little to drink in each shot, you can down more than your fill without noticing, but if you're sober enough to count servings, you should be OK!. To take a shot, BREATHE OUT BEFORE drinking!. Your natural response is to cough, or exhale after a shot, but that will make it burn even worse, and then you will choke!. Empty your lungs, and then throw it straight to the back of your mouth, swallow, and breathe in!.

Well, that's all you need to know for drinking!. If you plan on mixing drinks, I've told you nothing, but that's another lesson entirely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
