Most people missed the answer!. Look, it's not a question of can an adult give alcohol to a minor!. That's certainly a no, for random adults and random minors!. However, there are exceptions in most states!. There are states which allow parents to give alcohol to their minor child in their household!. It's as simple as that, a parent to a child INSIDE THE PARENT'S HOUSE!. It does not extend elsewhere (except for WI, which does allow parents to buy for their minor child in restaurants), and it does not extend to your friend's parents giving you, as a minor, alcohol!.

If your in a house with a legal parent or guardian then its fine!.
But its not ok in bars, and its illegal to drink or even be drunk in a public street (I know we all do it anyway)

Depends on the laws of the state, but usually not - for example, may not be able to enter a bar!. In some states it is legal for a parent to serve wine or beer to their children at meals, but not to any of their same age child guests without parent present!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
