Answers:
"The hair of the dog" is short for "the hair of the dog that bit you"!.

Therfore you need to drink whatever gave you the hangover!.

Hang in there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wow you must have been up till the early hours last night if your still feeling bad at this time of the day!.
You can drink anything for that, The first few mouthfuls will be foul but if you can drink the full glass or can then it will work!. I prefer to have some resolve, a pint of orange and a lay down for half an hour while it kicks in it tastes much better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i agree that the best hair of the tail of the dog that bit you is the beverage you should take, about a shotglass full of it!. so, since margaritas are made with tequilla, drink a shotglass of tequilla!. one thing i learned over my long life is this:

1!. you have your cocktail first, prior to eating!.
2!. you have the beverage of the dinner while you eat, which might be wine or beer!.
3!. you drink copious amounts of water during dinner!. that's why there is a large crystal glass and a smaller one at a good dinner party: the small one is for the wine, and the larger one is for water!.
4!. you only have a cognac or desert drink after dinner, in a small amount and not more than one!.
5!. don't ever drink on an empty stomach, meaning that when you have the first drink, for example, a margarita as your cocktail, you will be drinking that on an empty stomach, but you are going to very shortly have a full dinner, which will cut its potency!.
6!. only drink enough not to get drunk, which makes you look like an idiot and if you drive, you may very well end up killing someone!.
7!. drink only if you are with a group of people where one is the designated driver who will not have even wine with dinner!.
8!. if you are alone, do not bring your car where you will drink, be sure to leave it at home and have the money for a cab!. leave in a cab!.

i hope you feel better, but your hangover may last you all day long even when you have a hair of the tail of the dog that bit you, so you just live it out!. be sure to eat a big breakfast and big lunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know this stinks to read but the worst thing you can do to cure a hangover is to drink more liquor!. because the body is dehydrated from all the sugar you drank!. drink water and lots of it only time can cure a hangover!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can't go wrong with a good Bloody Mary! I've also heard of people mixing a Bloody Mary with a beer!. Never tried it, but heard it does the trick!.

OR how about a screwdriver!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Orange juice is good but you get a hangover from dehydration not from the amount of alcohol drunk!. Just drink as much water as possible!. If you drink more alcohol you'll just get more dehydrated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
