What's a safe German wine for my sister?!

Question: What's a safe German wine for my sister!?
My sister loves wine, but I have no idea what kind!. I'm going to see her in Paris next week and I want to bring her a bottle of authentic German Riesling, but I'm not sure what's a good, safe bottle of wine that nearly everyone would enjoy!. I know nothing about wine whatsoever, and I don't think I can afford more than 10-15 euros!. Any tips!? If it would help, the pdf of the place I'm buying it from is at

Answers:
get a Mosel from a good estate!. They usually are in green glass (Rhine wines usually are in brown)!. Pick a Kabinet if you want a crisp, light wine or a Spatlese if you want a fuller, richer, slightly sweet wine!.

Either should be pleasant to most people's tastes!.

On your list, the Weingut Fritz Haag "Dusemonder Hof", Brauneberg / Mosel wines would be good choices!. A fine winery that is respected around the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have already selected the type of wine, (Reisling) now you have to chose the quality!. German wines come in five qualities!.

You can tell it is a quality wine by the words "Qualitatwein mit predikat"

The five levels of Qaulitatswein are:

Kabinett
Spatlese
Auslese
Beerenauslese
Trochenberenauslese

A final category is Icewein!.

The five major ones go from non sweet to very sweet!.
Icewein is an extremely sweet wine!.

Then you can decide on the year that you want (the Jahrung on the wine list)

Perhaps the BEST thing to do, might be to contact the seller and ask their opinion!. They should know what was a good year and a good winery for your budget!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
