Not a big cab fan, so I'll let someone else address that, but I am a big pinot noir fan!.
We really like Cloudline Pinot Noir!. Goes for about $15-$18 a bottle and you can find it at Total Wine and World Market!. (Others, of course!.)
La Crema was mentioned by another poster!. IMO, it's got a bit of bite in the aftertaste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

French Pinots type, go with Louis Jadot (big company) or Faiveley (small company)!. US, go with Pinots from Oregon, maybe Ponzi!. Cabs!. Decent cabs everywhere!. Gallo of Sonoma, Mondavi Coastals are okay for big names, maybe Honig!. Or not a brand but as a region, AOC Medoc is pretty reliable!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
