Answers:
A standard serving of wine is 5 floz!.

A standard serving of beer is 12 floz!.

A standard serving of liquor is 1!.5 floz!.

It all has to do with alcohol equivalence!.

A standard measure of wine used to be 125ml, however, that now really just applies to champagne!. Most places have standard (175ml) and large (250ml) glasses, and should ask which you'd like - but if you're not careful you may get 250ml servings without asking for a large!.!.!.!.
You will never get a glass of more than 250ml (1/3rd of a bottle), and the only place I have seen 125ml glasses of wine recently in the UK is in curry houses!.
Make sure you know what you're getting, especially if you're driving - as a large glass of wine can be 3+ units of alcohol depending on the wine!.
