Absinthe! ...How do I...?!
Hey, I have brought a few bottles of Absinthe back from Spain where I went on holiday!.
I know this is really strong stuff, and well yeah!.
I can see its stupid for me to be drinking it at 16 lol!.
but I am anyway, and I dont care!.!. im with my friends and my gf and were just having a laugh with it on friday!.
Anyway, how do I drink it!.!.
surely not straight!?
Do I need to dilute it with!.!.!. !?!? water!?

The french method is to place a sugar cube on a teaspoon, suspend the teaspoon over the glass, then water drop by water drop melt the sugar!. You should also be warned that Absinthe has a very well deserved reputation for being lethal!. The recipe for making this drink has changed to make it legal, but caution should still be used!.

Traditionally it is served with a special spoon poured into a glass over which a specially designed slotted spoon is placed!. A sugar cube is placed in the bowl of the spoon!. Ice-cold water is poured or dripped over the sugar until the drink is diluted to a ratio between 3:1 and 5:1!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You need to get one shot of Absinthe over ice, and a spoon of sugar!. Drizzle a bit of absinthe onto the sugar and light it!. Let the burning absinthe/sugar drip slowly onto the drink, and let it catch fire, then pour 3 parts water after it has burned for about 10 seconds!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well,don't go sloshing it around like cheap beer!.It's very strong!.!.!.in some parts of Europe they serve it in a glass with one sugar cube added and a slow trickle of ice cold water is added to the drink!.!.!.3 to 1 ratio!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
